How I Converted Priscilla Ojo To Islam - Juma Jux

Tanzanian-Nigerian singer, Juma Jux, has opened up about the personal and spiritual journey that led to the religious conversion of his wife, Priscilla Ojo, daughter of popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo.

In a revealing interview with Afrik Media, Juma Jux disclosed that helping Priscilla embrace Islam was not an easy feat.

According to him, the process was deeply spiritual and emotionally delicate, involving both patience and guidance from Islamic scholars.

“It was a little difficult convincing my wife to become a Muslim,” Juma said. “I was receiving lessons from religious leaders who taught me the right way to approach it. With time, she understood.”

The couple's relationship, which had sparked conversations across Nigeria and Tanzania due to their cross-cultural backgrounds, has now taken a more profound turn with their shared spiritual path.

Jux emphasized that the conversion was never forced, but rather a gradual understanding and appreciation of his faith by Priscilla.

He also spoke fondly about their wedding, revealing that he had envisioned the entire event in a dream before it eventually happened. Juma noted that their union feels divinely orchestrated and spiritually aligned.

“I knew everything when it came to my wedding. I had a dream about it. I was so lucky to find someone who wants the same thing as I do,” he added

The wedding, which was celebrated in both Lagos and Dar es Salaam, merged elements of Nigerian and Tanzanian culture, with the couple receiving blessings from both Islamic clerics and family elders.

Priscilla Ojo, known for her strong social media presence and growing influence as a fashion entrepreneur, has yet to publicly comment on her conversion.

However, sources close to the family suggest she has been studying Islamic teachings and adapting comfortably to her new faith.
