Photographer of Late President Buhari Shares Touching Moment of Aisha Buhari, Kids on Air Force Jet

 According to a post shared on July 16, 2025, by Bayo Omoboriowo, the official photographer of the late President Muhammadu Buhari, a touching moment of the former First Lady, Aisha Buhari, and her children aboard an Air Force jet has been released to the public.

In an emotional tribute, Omoboriowo reflected on his eight-year journey serving as President Buhari’s personal photographer from 2015 to 2023. He described the late president as a leader who believed deeply in his team, offering him complete creative freedom and unwavering trust throughout his service.

“Never once did he interfere in my work. Never once did he ask to edit a photo. He gave me wings to fly,” Omoboriowo wrote.

He explained that his motivation wasn’t just to photograph a president, but to bridge the gap in how Nigeria’s history is visually documented. In Buhari, he found a leader who offered that opportunity.

Omoboriowo, who was present in London during Buhari’s final moments, described the decision to capture and release these images as an act of honor, gratitude, and national remembrance.

“His legacy lives in the stories we tell and preserve,” he said. “May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
