Arsenal star Bukayo Saka to be ruled out for up to four weeks in new major injury blow
The 27-year-old hobbled off with an injury to his left hamstring in the Gunners’ 5-0 thrashing of Leeds United on Saturday.
Mikel Arteta fuelled concern further after full-time, claiming that the England international's injury did not look good.
"Bukayo was running with the ball, and he felt something in his hamstring. It's the other one, not the same as last season. He felt something when sprinting; it's not a good sign," the Arsenal boss explained.
"We have to wait to understand how long he has will be out. I haven't spoken to the doctor yet, but for Bukayo to come off, it's significant."
According to BBC Sport, Saka will be unavailable for three to four weeks through a hamstring problem, which may be a more favourable outcome than first feared.
Captain Odegaard also left the pitch earlier in the game, clutching his right shoulder, which was in a sling when he left the stadium.
It follows the knee injury sustained by Kai Havertz in the opening weekend victory over Manchester United, the German out for an unspecified period.
