Man deported 4 weeks after relocating abroad for assaulting wife who got him to UK as a dependent

 

A lawyer identified as @lekan_abiodun on X (formerly Twitter) has shared how his friend allegedly got her husband deported just a month after bringing him to the UK as a dependent.

He recounted the story while reacting to a tweet about a woman who filed for divorce only a few months into marriage after suffering assault from her husband.

In his now-viral post, the barrister revealed that his friend’s ex-husband had physically assaulted her, prompting his arrest. She later went on to divorce him.

He tweeted; “My friend arrested, deported and divorced her ex husband for hitting her a month after she brought him as dependant to the UK.”

In the comment section, the lawyer added that his friend has since remarried.

“She Sabi ball die, plot twist she's flourishing and happily married to a man that can go to war for her.”
