According to an interview on With Chude on Saturday, August 2, 2025, the star recounted the terrifying ordeal that led to her decision to leave a toxic partnership.
Ibrahim described being trapped in a relationship marked by fear and control, where her partner physically restrained her and confined her to his home for days.
She revealed that her partner’s imposing physical stature added to her sense of helplessness, as he was capable of overpowering her easily.
The actress shared that the abuse was a daily occurrence, leaving her in constant distress and unhappiness, despite her partner’s awareness of her suffering.
The situation escalated to a point where she felt trapped, unsure of how to break free from the cycle of abuse.
The turning point came when Ibrahim’s sister, Sonia, intervened and helped her escape the oppressive environment
In her words, “I had to leave the relationship, I fought my way out of that relationship because he even locked me up in his house for some days, until my sister Sonia came to find me. I was scared like, what do I do? Because the guy is huge, he is taller than me. And imagine someone pinning you down, someone that can raise you against the wall and you can’t do anything. And guess what, it was everyday, and I was not happy. He was seeing that I’m not happy, but everyday, he wants to do something.”
