 Popular Nigerian author Fatima Ishiaku has revealed some of the things that happened between her and her mother's husband, while also stating how the situation affected her negatively at the time.

According to the video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of With Chude TV on Saturday, July 2, 2025, during an interview, she explained that her mother's husband forcefully abused her, saying that he started abusing her when she was seven years old.

According to Fatima Ishiaku, she said, "My mother's husband forcefully had sex with me, he started touching me at the age of 7. He was able to get away with it because I was young and I didn't have a voice. As a celebrity, I decided to lend my voice, and that was how an American professor discovered me, and he told me to write a book about it. I refused to write the book because it was a big trauma for me. My friends dumped me, nobody wanted their children to associate with me. They said I'm a cursed child and that I seduced my mother's husband. They even called me a taboo and bad luck, and it was something that caused me a lot."
