ValueJet Offered To Fly Me On A Private Jet, Kwam1, and Apologized For Being The Victim

 the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) is now investigating an incident at the Abuja airport in which Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as Kwam 1, has disputed allegations of wrongdoing, stating that he was the victim and not the aggressor.

In a statement sent by his media assistant Kunle Rasheed, Kwam 1 denied rumors that he violated aviation regulations or put passengers in danger while boarding a ValueJet flight on August 5, 2025.

"We have received complaints that King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (K1 De Ultimate) acted in an unpleasant manner when trying to board a ValueJet flight. We want to make it clear that this story is not just inflated but also false," the statement said.

Kwam 1 clarified that the item that caught security's notice was only "plain drinking water" that was given to him in the lounge; it was neither illegal nor anything that could jeopardize flight safety.

The statement further stated that "the situation was unnecessarily escalated despite his respectful effort to clarify this."

"Claims that K1 blocked the aircraft or attempted to disrupt operations are completely unfounded," the experienced artist claimed, refuting the idea that he interfered with airport operations.

The seasoned performer, who is well-known throughout the world and regularly takes both domestic and foreign trips, is aware of and closely follows aviation regulations.

Kwam 1 further disclosed that the Chairman and Managing Director of ValueJet expressed regret to him and even offered to take him to Lagos on a private jet, but he declined the offer.

"The airline's chairman and managing director, the head of airport security, and representatives from pertinent organizations like the FAAN and NCAA would not have personally appealed, apologized, and even set up a free private jet to transport him to Lagos if there had really been anything improper about his behavior. K1 politely turned down the offer in spite of constant pressure from the airline's top executives, the statement read. Kwam 1 described himself as the only individual impacted by the incident, saying, "Only he and his personal assistant were directly involved."

A few worried travelers who were there at the scene urged him to maintain his composure, acknowledging the excessive strain he was under.

"It is important to note that the pilot involved now has her license suspended," he added in response to rumors about the pilot.

It is understandable that she would try to shift the blame given the situation; she must undoubtedly lie to hide her identity
