A viral church program has sparked conversation after a group of single women, dressed in white wedding gowns, were seen praying fervently for husbands.

In the trending video, the women, who were reportedly unmarried, appeared in bridal attire during a service that resembled awedding scene.

They were led in prayers with the belief that dressing like brides would enhance their chances of their prayers to find life partners.

Preacher leads intense session

A female preacher was captured moving among the women, placing her hands on their heads and chests while praying intensely for them to meet suitable spouses.

Without a shred of doubt in the hearts of these women, the preacher’s individual prayer session moved some to tears and emotional responses.

The unusual scene has triggered mixed reactions on social media, with some netizens describing it as an act of faith, while others criticised it as desperation and theatrics.
