Man quietly end relationship after Finding Out He was saved as ‘House Rent’ in Girlfriend’s Phone

 A man has reportedly ended his relationship after uncovering a shocking truth about his girlfriend while helping her with her phone.

According to an X (Twitter) post shared by @TheKingDaughtaa, the incident began innocently when the man’s girlfriend asked him to hotspot her laptop while she took a shower. During the process, a call came in from a contact saved as “Food Money.”

Curious, the man noticed his own number was saved as “Frank – House Rent,” while other contacts were labeled “Mr. Transport” and “Data + Wig.”

At first, he thought it was a harmless joke until he checked her messages. The one saved as “Food Money” had sent her ₦10,000 the night before, while “Foodstuff” was asking what she wanted from the market so he could buy it when visiting.

Ironically, the same girlfriend had often claimed she wasn’t materialistic and wanted a man who “understands her.” Shocked by the discovery, the man didn’t confront her immediately but went silent.

Two days later, when the lady asked why he had changed, he simply replied, “Nothing’s wrong. But your rent won’t be renewed again. Start looking for a new landlord.”

The woman reportedly broke down in tears, claiming he dumped her for no reason.
