Reactions As Video Of El-Rufai Prostrating Before The Olubadan Of Ibadan Surfaced Online

Social media users have taken to their official X account to react after the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai was seen prostrating before the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja.

The former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar made the video available on his official X account on Monday, September 30, 2025.

According to report, the moment was captured after Atiku Abubakar, the former PDP National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, former Cross River State Governor, Mr Liyel Imoke, Nasir El-Rufai and several other politicians paid a courtesy visit to the King in Ibadan.

According to Atiku Abubakar, he visited Ibadan because he couldn't attend the coronation ceremony of Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan.

In the video that surfaced, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai was seen showing respect to the king by prostrating.
