This season started with 29 housemates and ended in suspenseful and emotional fashion, with Imisi emerging victorious over runner-up Dede. Beyond her victory, Imisi recently opened up about a painful chapter from her childhood—a story that has stayed with her for years. During a house task where contestants shared personal experiences, she told teammates Koyin, Jason Jae, Sultana, and Mide about being sexually assaulted at age 13, which led to a pregnancy she had to terminate.
She recounted being sent out of her home at that tender age and taken in by someone else. On the third day, the person’s mother discovered her presence, and she was moved to a church. There, she was placed alone in a small, dark storeroom overnight.
Imisi described the experience as deeply traumatic, explaining that it left her fearful of staying alone in dark spaces even as an adult. She shared that this memory remains one of the hardest moments of her childhood.
