Once We Get Chelsea And Aro, I Can Confidently Say Peace Will Return To Kwara, Niger, And Kogi-CP Ojo

 CP Adekunle Ojo, Commissioner of Police in Kwara State, has stated that recent security efforts have significantly reduced kidnapping incidents across the state and neighboring regions

In a media briefing held in Ilorin, CP Ojo said he is confident that peace will soon return to Kwara, Niger, and Kogi States, where criminal groups have been active. He explained that the police have successfully located the bandits’ hideouts in forested areas and are consistently launching operations to dismantle them. He added that the government has also blocked the supply of weapons and ammunition to these groups, weakening their ability to carry out attacks.

CP Ojo declared three notorious kidnap leaders Chelsea, Auta, and Aro wanted in connection with recent violent attacks on communities. He said Chelsea is believed to be the mastermind who recruits and trains bandits operating in the region. He stressed that capturing these individuals would mark a turning point in restoring security and stability.

Ojo said, “We are happy that residents who fled their communities have been returning in large numbers. Meanwhile, we are searching everywhere for Chelsea and Aro, and they know we are after them, but I am confident that we’ll catch them. Chelsea is like the warlord who recruits and trains these bandits. By the time we get them, I can beat my chest that we will have final peace around Niger, Kwara, and Kogi States where these people have been operating."
