The future belongs to God.But let me say it plainly: Atiku will never be president of Nigeria-Oba Rilwan Akiolu

 The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, in an interview with select journalists, including a journalist from the Nigerian Tribune, at his Iga Iduganran Palace to mark his 82nd birthday and 22 years on the throne, spoke about the issues affecting Nigeria.

When asked to assess President Tinubu’s government and his prospects for a second term, Oba Rilwan Akiolu said that the future belongs to God. However, he stated plainly that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar would never become President of Nigeria.

He described Tinubu as compassionate and visionary, noting that it was remarkable he became president and that Tinubu had presented his certificate to him first after winning the election. He urged Lagosians and Nigerians to support the president in fulfilling God’s purpose for the country.

He said, "The future belongs to God. But let me say it plainly: former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar will never be President of Nigeria. Tinubu is compassionate and visionary. Who would have believed he’d become president?"
