The ruling All Progressives Congress (apc) has released the schedule of activities for its nationwide ward, local government, state and zonal congresses, as well as its national convention for the 2025/2026 cycle.
In a timetable released this morning, the party said the activities would begin with a nationwide electronic membership registration exercise.
According to the schedule, the e-registration of members will run from December 1, 2025, to January 30, 2026.
The APC said ward congresses will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, while the local government congresses are scheduled for Friday, February 20, 2026. State congresses, according to the timetable, will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
The zonal congresses will be conducted across the six geopolitical zones on Saturday, March 21, 2026, while its national convention for Wednesday, March 25, to Saturday, March 28, 2026.
The timetable outlines the sequence of internal party activities leading to the election of officers at various levels.
The congresses are expected to produce ward, local government, state and zonal executives ahead of the national convention.
The APC is expected to issue further guidelines on the conduct of the congresses and convention in the coming weeks.
