Actress Regina Daniels has opened up about why she will never marry again.
The 24-year-old, whose marriage to Ned Nwoko has been in the public eye for months, revealed that her past experiences have left her “traumatised with that institution.”
Speaking to fans online, Regina said she has no intention of marrying another man. When a follower asked if she would consider someone closer to her age, she responded bluntly: “Nope! Traumatised with that institution.”
Regina’s revelation comes after a tumultuous separation from her estranged husband.
In October, a video showing the actress in tears went viral, with Regina accusing Nwoko of domestic violence. In response, Nwoko claimed she struggled with drug and alcohol addiction and urged her to undergo rehabilitation.
Regina addressed the allegations, admitting past drug use but insisting that the accusations were being used to manipulate her.
She wrote: “Every problem we have had started when I no longer wanted you, whether sober or even high. Stop using the ‘drugs’ narrative to create a distraction.” She also suggested that she does not currently have access to her children, dismissing claims that her social media posts were meant to spite her husband.
Regina’s marriage to Nwoko attracted attention due to their significant age difference. She defended her decision at the time, saying her “stubborn” nature meant she would not have married someone her age.
