PL Table after Chelsea drew 0-0, Arsenal lost 1-2, Liverpool drew 3-3, Man City won 3-0

The Premier League produced a series of notable outcomes that once again altered the league standings as the year approaches its final weeks. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City were all involved in key fixtures, each delivering different results across the matchday.

Arsenal faced Aston Villa in a challenging encounter that ended 2-1 in favour of the hosts. The North London side found it difficult to match Villa’s energy throughout the contest, leaving Villa Park without a point after being unable to overturn the home team’s lead.

Chelsea made the trip to the Vitality Stadium for their meeting with Bournemouth as they looked to bounce back from their recent setback against Leeds United. Despite having long spells of control and creating several promising opportunities, Mauricio Pochettino’s men were unable to convert any of them, resulting in a goalless draw.

Manchester City welcomed Sunderland to the Etihad Stadium determined to maintain their winning rhythm. Dias broke the deadlock in the 31st minute, with Gvardiol adding a second soon after. Foden later sealed the result with a third goal midway through the second half, giving the champions a straightforward 3-0 win.

Liverpool’s clash with Leeds United at Elland Road delivered one of the day’s most dramatic scorelines. Ekitike scored early in the second half and quickly added another to put Liverpool ahead. Leeds fought back through a Calvert-Lewin penalty, followed by Stach’s equaliser to level the contest at 2-2. Szoboszlai restored Liverpool’s lead with ten minutes remaining, but Tanaka struck late for Leeds, ending the match in a 3-3 draw filled with twists.

These combined results have once again caused movement in the Premier League standings as clubs continue their battle for higher positions.
