Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has named his final list of 28 players for the upcoming 35th Africa Cup of Nations finals in Morocco (AFCON 2025).
Chelle had released a provisional 54-man list last week, before cutting the squad down to the required final size.
Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali made the final list despite earlier reports that he could miss the tournament due to hand and ankle injuries. Francis Uzoho is also included alongside Amas Obasogie.
Nigeria’s frontline features Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen alongside Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, and Moses Simon. Paul Onuachu and Cyriel Dessers have been recalled to the team, with Sevilla pair Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke also making the list.
