Phyna, discussed her post-show experiences during a Twitch livestream.

- Phyna noted that fan excitement tends to diminish quickly once a season concludes.

Big Brother Naija Season 7 champion, Phyna, has opened up about life after the reality show, explaining why she no longer encourages people to audition for the programme.
During a Twitch livestream, the reality TV star shared her view that the massive attention housemates receive while on the show rarely translates into long-term relevance outside the house. According to her, the excitement from fans fades quickly once a season ends.
She noted that the confidence and popularity contestants enjoy during the show often disappear afterward, stressing that fans tend to move on to new housemates every season.
Phyna explained that the same fan base simply shifts its loyalty from one set of contestants to another, leaving former housemates struggling to maintain influence and visibility.
She also criticised the widespread belief that appearing on BBNaija automatically leads to instant wealth and success. The reality star said many former housemates battle privately with financial and emotional challenges, even as social media pressures them to appear successful.
According to Phyna, the show no longer holds the level of prestige it once did. She added that being introduced as a former BBNaija housemate no longer attracts the same respect or recognition it used to.
The BBNaija winner cautioned aspiring contestants against entering the show without fully understanding what comes after. She stressed that participants must be prepared for intense public scrutiny, as well as the mental, emotional, and financial difficulties that often follow the end of the season.
Phyna further revealed that many ex-housemates are forced to compete for relevance, brand endorsements, and steady income once attention shifts to new contestants.
