Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has finally indicated interest in contesting Kwara Central Senatorial seat during 2027 general elections.
Abdulrazaq reportedly informed his close allies of his decision to go to Senate after completing second tenure.
FactualTimes gathered that his foot soldiers would launch aggressive campaign by February to rally support for the Governor.
This is not the first time Abdulrazaq will be contesting for senatorial seat. In 2015, he contested on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki of APC.
Recall that our medium earlie reported that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is reserving Kwara Central seat for Governor Abdulrazaq.
As0 of today nobody in the APC has shown in contesting for Senate in the district.
