Yoruba Nollywood actress Victoria Ajibola, popularly known as Omo Local, has opened up about the painful circumstances surrounding the end of her marriage.
Speaking in an interview on Oyinmomo TV, she described how a close friend became involved with her husband after she left the union, eventually leading to a new family.
The actress explained that she decided to walk away from her marriage upon learning of the developing relationship between her husband and her friend.
She confirmed that the betrayal played a key role in her departure, as the situation escalated beyond reconciliation.
Ajibola recounted that after she exited the marriage, her former friend went on to marry her ex-husband.
The new couple reportedly built a family together, welcoming three children.
Despite the hurt, the actress noted a moment of composure when she visited her former friend at a clinic following one of the deliveries.
She brought baby gifts, left them, and departed without lingering, highlighting a mix of lingering goodwill amid the betrayal
Currently, Ajibola said she remains unaware of the present status of her ex-husband and her former friend's relationship, unsure whether they are still together or have since parted ways.
She expressed no ongoing contact or knowledge about their current circumstances.
Her words: "Yes, I did leave my marriage. But currently, I don’t know my friends' whereabouts as of now. I don't know if they are still together or separated. But what I do know is that after I left my marriage, I heard my friend married my husband and even gave birth to three children for him. I even once visited her in the clinic to give her baby gifts after she delivered. I just dropped the gifts and left."
