The White House marked Valentine’s Day with a series of cheeky, politically themed cards shared on social media, blending holiday romance with sharp political messaging.
One card featured handcuffed and blindfolded Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro being flown out of Venezuela after his reported capture, alongside the caption, “You captured my heart.”
Another showed President Donald Trump holding an executive order styled as a Valentine’s message reading “UR My Valentine.”

A third card displayed Senator Chris Van Hollen sitting with former ICE detainee Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. Framed inside a heart, it carried the messages: “My love for you is as strong as Democrats love for illegal aliens” and “I’d fly 1,537 miles to have a drink with you!”
There was also a Greenland-themed card featuring a heart-shaped image of the island with the phrase, “It’s time we define our situationship,” referencing Trump’s repeated comments about acquiring Greenland.
The White House later posted a more traditional Valentine’s message featuring Trump walking hand-in-hand with Melania Trump, captioned simply, “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
