EPL: Saka, Rice, Madueke leave England camp

At least eight players have left the England squad, including Arsenal trio: Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke and Manchester City defender, John Stones.

This was confirmed in a statement released by England on Saturday night.

Rice and Saka have left the camp for “medical assessment”.

Their club team-mate Madueke will join them, after he left Wembley Stadium in a knee brace, having been hurt in the first half of their 1-1 draw with Uruguay on Friday.

Crystal Palace midfielder, Adam Wharton, also picked up a “knock” in the game.

Stones also left camp after “picking up an issue in training”.

They will all not play in Tuesday’s friendly against Japan.
