Award-winning Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has shared her thoughts on Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), stating that she finds it appealing. Despite this, she admitted she cannot go through with the procedure because she is unable to bear the pain involved.
The Jenifa actress noted that she has no issue with women choosing cosmetic surgery to enhance their appearance but advised that it should be done in moderation and with proper consideration of the risks.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Morayo Show, she said: “I enjoy seeing women with beautiful figures. I like BBL, particularly the more natural-looking ones, not the overly large versions. I admire flat stomachs and liposuction. I would love to try it, but I don’t have the strength.”
She continued, “I’m not against BBL. If enhancing your beauty is what you want, go ahead, but don’t overdo it. Just be careful.”
Akindele further discussed the impact of fame and her personality on her personal relationships. She described herself as someone who feels emotions intensely and loves deeply, while also admitting that she is very strict. She said her disciplined approach has caused her to let go of some people she once held close.
She pointed out that loneliness is one of the costs of fame, explaining that maintaining success requires being careful and disciplined, which can reduce social connections. She added that she is still working on improving her relationships but remains focused on protecting her mental health.
