Kwara PDP Holds Political Rally In Ilorin, Promises Improved Security and Economic Relief

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held a political rally in Ilorin, attracting supporters from across the state.

Thousands of party loyalists and residents turned out in large numbers for the campaign, demonstrating strong support and enthusiasm ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The campaign, which featured the slogan “O Su Wa,” focused on key issues affecting residents, including insecurity, food security challenges, and the rising cost of premium motor spirit (petrol).

Party leaders used the platform to address concerns about the economic situation, emphasizing the need for policies that would ease the burden on citizens and improve living standards.

During the rally, traders at Oja Oba Market expressed concerns over alleged harassment and brutality by security operatives, particularly soldiers operating in the area.

In response, party representatives assured the traders and residents that their administration would address such challenges and ensure better protection of citizens’ rights if elected into power.

The PDP also pledged to restore stability and improve living conditions across Kwara State, promising to reverse current hardships and deliver people-oriented governance.

The party reaffirmed its commitment to winning the 2027 elections, expressing confidence that its policies and promises would resonate with voters across the state
