Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has sent a message of support to his old club after their Champions League final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.
Henry was present at the Stadium in Budapest as Arsenal fell to PSG via a penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw.
Speaking to CBS Sports, Henry urged Arsenal not to dwell too much on the defeat to Luis Enrique’s side.
According to him, failure can help the Gunners grow, and they should be better next season.
“To reach the Champions League final with the best teams in Europe and fight to a penalty shootout, as well as winning the Premier League, this is a great season for Arsenal Football Club,” Henry said.
“You just lost to a very good team. You pushed them to their limits. But failure can also help you grow, so feel it, but don’t dwell on it. We will be back.”
