Lateef Adedimeji Opens Up on Wife’s Pregnancy Journey

Popular Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has opened up about the emotional path he and his wife, actress Adebimpe Oyebade, known as Mo Bimpe, traveled before welcoming their triplets.

In an interview with media personality Morayo Afolabi Brown, the actor described the experience as shocking and overwhelming. He admitted that learning they were expecting three babies at once was more than what he and his wife had hoped for.

Adedimeji mentioned that the long wait made him more focused on caring for his wife during her pregnancy. He praised Mo Bimpe as a strong woman who faced this journey with great bravery.

“It was shocking for me, at the same time, I had mixed feelings. When you expect something and it turns out to be even more than you imagined, it shows that the wait wasn’t bad,” he explained.

He also said, “When you finally get what you’ve been waiting for, you want to take extra care of her. But she is indeed a strong woman.”

The award-winning actor shared that he stayed by his wife’s side during delivery because he couldn’t bear the thought of leaving her to face it alone.

“I couldn’t hold back. We accomplished this together. We’re in this together. I was right there, and I witnessed it all unfold. It wasn’t easy at all. I really admire women for that. Great job,” he said.

When asked if they plan to have more children, Adedimeji shared that even though their triplets are boys, his wife dreams of having a daughter. However, he emphasized that the final decision is up to God.

“Everything is in God’s control since we have boys. I know my wife would love to have a girl, so maybe we could try for one more,” he added.
