According to a report by TheCable on July 21, 2026, popular Nigerian content creator and social media personality Jarvis has shared more details about her efforts to reunite with her father, revealing that she once traveled to Senegal in search of him but was unable to locate him after discovering he had reportedly moved to France.
Speaking in a recent interview, Jarvis recounted the emotional experience, saying she had remained hopeful of reconnecting with her father despite years without contact. She explained that her determination led her to Senegal after believing he was living there.
"I went to Senegal, but I couldn't find him. I was told he moved to France," she said, describing the trip as one of the most emotional moments of her life.
Jarvis explained that the journey was motivated by her strong desire to see her father again, adding that it was heartbreaking to arrive in Senegal only to discover he was no longer there. She had hoped the visit would finally reunite them.
The content creator, whose real name is Aminata, also shared that her father was among the few people who always addressed her by that name. She said hearing him call her "Aminata" remains one of her most cherished childhood memories.
Although she did not explain the circumstances behind their separation, Jarvis said she still thinks about her father and hopes they will one day meet again. She added that learning he had reportedly relocated to France left her disappointed, as it brought her search to another standstill.
