Actress Carla Jeffery, best known for playing Bree in Disney’s ZOMBIES franchise, has died at the age of 33.

Her death was announced in a statement shared on her official Instagram page by her talent management company, Alexanders Talent Management.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffery, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at just 33 years old,” the statement read.
The cause of her death has not been disclosed.
Carla played Bree in the first ZOMBIES film in 2018 and went on to reprise the role in ZOMBIES 2 and ZOMBIES 3.
Her ZOMBIES co-star Milo Manheim was among those who paid tribute to her following the newsof her death.
“Carla. The sweetest person I have ever met. I love you,” he wrote.
Another co-star, Chandler Kinney, described Carla as “the brightest shining light in any room she walked into” and “the kindest person you'd ever meet.”
Disney Entertainment Television also released a statement mourning the actress, praising her talent, warmth and the impact she had on those she worked with.
