Former Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar has criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration over the rising cost of living and security challenges in the country, promising to work towards making life more affordable for Nigerians.
Atiku said the current economic situation has made life increasingly difficult for many citizens, stressing the need for policies that would ease the financial burden on households and improve security nationwide.
“Tinubu made life expensive. I will work to make life affordable again and restore the security every Nigerian deserves,” Atiku said.
He also emphasised the importance of addressing insecurity, noting that Nigerians deserve to live in a country where their lives and properties are protected.
His remarks come amid ongoing public concerns over the cost of essential goods and services, as well as security challenges affecting different parts of the country.
Atiku’s statement highlights his position on economic affordability and national security, two issues that continue to feature prominently in discussions about Nigeria’s leadership and future.
