My Mom Raised Five Kids Alone In The UK, Working Low-Paid Jobs Just To Make Ends Meet – Uriel Oputa

Uriel Oputa, a media personality, has paid tribute to her mother, who she says struggled to raise five children on her own in the UK after her husband's death. She revealed that her mother took on a series of low-paying jobs, including working as a cashier and a cleaner, just to make ends meet and provide for her family.

In her conversation on the Outside The Box Podcast, Uriel painted a picture of a dedicated mother who did whatever it took to keep her family afloat. Despite the financial hardships, she said she had a "beautiful childhood" because her mother "did her best." This story highlights the sacrifices her mother made and instills a deep appreciation for the hard work that shaped her upbringing.

Uriel Oputa said, “My mom struggled because she had five kids, huge kids. My mom did a lot of jobs that are considered low-paid jobs. So my mom worked as a cashier. My mom worked as, she used to sew. So she would sew odd jobs here and there. She did a bit of cleaning jobs and just to make ends meet.

So my childhood was good. I had good memories because my mom did her best and she struggled with money and trying to make ends meet. I grew up in a very wonderful neighborhood, safe neighborhood, and I had a good childhood. My mom did the best she could.”
