FG Shortlists Candidates For NSCDC, NIS, And Fire Service Recruitment CBT

 the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the official list of shortlisted candidates for the upcoming computer-based test (CBT) in the ongoing recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).

In a statement signed by the Secretary of the Board, Ja’afaru Ahmed, the CDCFIB announced that the list of successful applicants has been uploaded on the recruitment portal and urged candidates to check their names and examination details promptly.

According to the statement, only candidates who met the eligibility requirements and successfully completed the online application process were shortlisted. The Board warned applicants against engaging in any fraudulent activities or patronizing individuals claiming to have influence over the recruitment process.

“The Board wishes to remind applicants that the recruitment exercise is free, fair, and merit-based. Any candidate found to have engaged in malpractice or offered inducement will be automatically disqualified,” the statement read.

The CDCFIB also directed shortlisted candidates to appear for the CBT at their designated centers with valid means of identification, printouts of their application slips, and other relevant documents.

It further stated that the date, venue, and specific instructions for the CBT have been communicated to each candidate via email and SMS notifications.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring transparency and integrity in the recruitment process, noting that the selection aims to strengthen the nation’s paramilitary agencies with qualified and disciplined personnel capable of addressing emerging security and safety challenges.

Nigerians have applauded the move, describing it as a step toward professionalizing the nation’s internal security services and providing job opportunities for young people across the country.
