Zidane reaches agreement for next managerial job

Former Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, has reached a verbal agreement to become the head coach of the France national team, according to the UK Mirror.

Zidane has not coached any team since his second stint with Madrid ended in 2021.

Since then, the 53-year-old has been linked with Juventus, Manchester United and another return to the Bernabeu.

However, Zidane has snubbed all offers presented to him, while holding off for his dream job.

Zidane is now primed to take over Les Bleus after the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

The team is currently being handled by his compatriot Didier Deschamps.

But Deschamps’ contract will expire at the end of the tournament.
